Ooredoo has said it is encouraging its Nojoom members to donate their Nojoom points to charities in Qatar during the holy month of Ramadan.
With Nojoom charity redemption, members can donate to some of Qatar’s “best loved” charitable organisations easily by using their points for vouchers starting at QR25 and going up to QR2,000, Ooredoo has said in a statement.
Redemptions can be done to Nojoom’s charity partners such as Qatar Charity, Sheikh Eid Bin Mohamed Al Thani Charitable Association, also known as Eid Charity, and Afif.
Nojoom members can log into their Nojoom account via the Ooredoo website or the Ooredoo App to make a redemption.
Fatima Sultan al-Kuwari, director of community and public relations at Ooredoo, said: “We aim to encourage the joy and importance of giving that comes with the holy month by making donations as easy as possible.
Thanks to Nojoom, members can now donate to their choice of charities using points.”
Ooredoo has launched a series of special offers and several community and charity events that will take place across the country throughout the month of Ramadan.
Customers can follow the Ooredoo Ramadan campaign via the company’s Facebook and Twitter page or the hashtag #CloserConnection
