Ooredoo has announced that McDonald’s is the latest business in Qatar to take advantage of its recently-upgraded Smart Wi-Fi solution, utilising the service at 22 restaurants across the country.
With the Smart Wi-Fi, McDonald’s customers can enjoy access to the Supernet for free whenever they use a branch of the fast-food company with Smart Wi-Fi enabled.
Yousuf Abdulla al-Kubaisi, chief operating officer, Ooredoo Qatar, said: “We are the only company providing Smart Wi-Fi for Qatar’s businesses and people.”
Ayoub Mozaffari, operations manager, McDonald’s Qatar, said: “McDonald’s is positioning itself as the convenient brand for everyone. Introducing a Wi-Fi solution in our stores enables us to fulfil our brand vision, and give our customers a better experience.”
Smart Wi-Fi offers a company-branded welcome page and social media interactions. The service, which is 100% cloud-managed, offers a host of benefits for business customers, including monthly subscriptions and a no infrastructure cost set-up. It also removes the hassle of maintaining and upgrading hardware and software-based solutions.
