Katara Hospitality, the leading global hotel owner, developer and operator based in Qatar, had the opportunity to showcase its luxury portfolio in two major global industry events last week in Dubai.
“It has been an honour to be among the global hospitality giants showing their product offering at the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2016, an esteemed travel trade event held from April 25 to 28,” CEO Hamad Abdulla al-Mulla said.
Katara Hospitality exhibited its portfolio of local and international hotels at ATM 2016, including those operated by Murwab Hotel Group, the company’s standalone hotel operating division which showcased its own operator brands The Bürgenstock Selection in Switzerland, as well as Murwab Hotels and independent non-branded upscale properties in Qatar.
The recently opened Simaisma, a Murwab Resort in Qatar, and Switzerland’s lavish Art Nouveau style Royal Savoy Lausanne were also showcased at ATM for the first time.
Al-Mulla added that they also introduced Katara Specialties at this year’s ATM, a contemporary initiative designed to highlight the evolution of the organisation’s food and beverage concepts.
Katara Hospitality also showcased its strong position as an expert in the field of global hotel investments at this year’s Arabian Hotel Investment Conference, (AHIC) held from April 26 to 28.
“AHIC has for many years fostered dialogue among key stakeholders and organisational senior executives on such topics as global trends in hospitality, investment opportunities and the future of the hotel industry,” al-Mulla noted.
