Kalyan Jewellers has felicitated the first two weeks’ winners of the “Win 100gms Gold Everyday” initiative in Qatar.  The campaign began on March 25 and runs until May 10.
The raffle winners are Sara Dhawane, S Mukundarajan, Henok Chala Tolesa, Rakesh Uralikkandi, Suroor Ummer, Roy Sebastian, Gokul Radhakrishnan, Saneesh Vidyasagar, Salim Asarikandy, Firoja Khan, Haleema Mustafa Salim, Nisha Beevi, Shahanas Shabeer and Sherin George.
Customers can participate in the initiative by making a minimum purchase of QR500 across all Kalyan Jewellers showrooms in Qatar and getting a chance to win 100gm of gold every day. Those who purchase gold will receive one coupon, while those buying diamonds will get two coupons.
The draw dates are spread over the months of April and May in all three markets where the campaign has been rolled out – Qatar, the UAE and Kuwait.
The campaign is “yet another first among a slew of path-breaking concepts introduced by Kalyan Jewellers in the jewellery retailing industry”, according to a statement from the company.
Reiterating Kalyan Jewellers’ “commitment to creating unique customer experiences”, group chairman and managing director T S Kalyanaraman said: “This is indeed a great start to our operations in Qatar. Congratulations to all of them (winners) and we are extremely happy to have played a part in this win.
Kalyan Jewellers entered the Qatar market by launching seven showrooms on the same day with global brand ambassador and Indian cinema stalwart Amitabh Bachchan, along with ambassadors and popular film stars Prabhu Ganeshan, Akkineini Nagarjuna and Manju Warrier.
Currently, Kalyan Jewellers has 97 showrooms spread across India and West Asia, including 21 in the GCC - seven in Qatar, 11 in the UAE and three in Kuwait.
“The company has built a loyal base of more than 2.8mn customers. The brand has marked its entry into the GCC through innovative and clutter-breaking customer engagement,” the statement added.
