Qatar and Oman signed a co-operation agreement in the security field following a meeting between HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani and Omani Interior Minister  Hamoud bin Faisal al-Busaidi in Doha yesterday.
During the meeting, they reviewed ties between Qatar and Oman and means to develop them, particularly in the security field, in addition to topics of common interest.  
HE the Prime Minister and Interior Minister and the Omani  Minister of Interior signed a co-operation agreement between Qatar and Oman in the security field.  
Meanwhile, HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani received a verbal message from Sultan Qaboos bin Said of Oman, pertaining to bilateral relations between Qatar and Oman and means to further develop them.  
The message was conveyed by Omani Minister of Interior Hamud bin Faisal al-Busaeidi when the Emir met him at the Emiri Diwan yesterday.  
The Omani Minister of Interior conveyed the greetings of Sultan Qaboos to the Emir as well as his wishes of more progress and prosperity for the Qatari people.  
The Emir reciprocated the greetings of Sultan Qaboos and wished further progress and development for the Omani people.
The meeting reviewed the relations between Qatar and Oman and means to promote them, in addition to issues of common concern.  
HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior attended the meeting.   
Earlier on the Omani minister and his accompanying delegation were received at Hamad International Airport by HE the Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani and Omani ambassador to Qatar Mohamed bin Nasser al-Wihaibi.
