Jaidah Automotive, exclusive dealer of Chevrolet in Qatar, has recorded a 20% annual increase in sales of ACDelco maintenance-free batteries.
To celebrate the milestone, Jaidah IAM (Independent Aftermarket) division hosted a celebratory day for over 130 of its wholesale and retail customers, suppliers and Jaidah Automotive staff.
Ulf Sebecke, managing director, Jaidah Automotive, recalled that 2015 has been an
extraordinary year for the company.
ACDelco maintenance-free batteries are designed specifically to handle Middle East conditions, and can be fitted to almost any vehicle, he said.
“Jadiah’s battery customers have supported the group to achieve 45% market share, remarkable result in the local battery business,” the official stated.
At the event, Jaidah awarded some of their key clients, including Marhaba International Trading Co, Ali International Trading EST, Falcon Trading EST, Doha Motors and TRD. Co, Khalid Seif Auto Spare Parts, Woqod Fuel, Al Fajer Auto Spare Parts, Hot Speed Center, Euro Trade WLL, and Mohamed Al Sharafi.
“We at ACDelco and General Motors put our customers are at the centre of everything we do. We are delighted that we have Jaidah Automotive so well placed to deliver quality products and services to people in Qatar, which is one of our key markets,” said Bader El-Houssami – ACDelco regional sales and marketing manager.
Salim Ayadi, quality engineer from the Middle East Battery Company, presented the latest “Stamped Grid” technology used in new ACDelco maintenance-free batteries. “The new technology is efficient and robust, lasting significantly longer than other manufacturing methods,” he claimed.
