College of the North Atlantic - Qatar (CNA-Q) held a number of activities throughout the week to celebrate the National Sport Day.
Qatar Billiards & Snooker Federation executive manager Mubarak al-Kharayin was on hand as the College officially opened the Male Billiards Hall on campus.  Snooker expert Allan Trigg demonstrated a sampling of trick pool shots.
The tennis courts on campus were a busy place with the action at the 2016 CNA-Q Tennis Tournament. A team from Qatar University won, with a CNA-Q team placing a close second.
One of the largest events of the week was the 5km CNA-Q Fun Run, held on Tuesday, for students, staff and their families.
“Fitness is a vital part of being a well-rounded student and a well-rounded person,” said CNA-Q president, Dr Ken MacLeod.
The week was capped off when students from the Qatar Canadian School visited the CNA-Q campus for a sport activity day.  More than 200 students from elementary to high school participated in a number of sport and fitness activities.
