Jaidah Automotive, the exclusive distributors of Chevrolet vehicles in Qatar, yesterday launched three new models at the 2015 Qatar International Motor Show.
The new vehicles are the Corvette C7 convertible, the Silverado Reaper and the Tahoe Z71. The 5th Qatar Motor show is currently taking place at the Qatar National Convention Centre until February 10.
Mohamed Jaidah, executive director, Jaidah Group, Khalid Samir, director of operations Jaidah Automotive, Maurice Williams, president and managing director of GM, Middle East Operations, Jeroen Barwegen, regional sales and marketing director for Chevrolet and GMC, Ahmed Soudodi, regional brand manager for Chevrolet, Bader El-Houssami, regional sales manager,Chevrolet and Mohamed Daaboul, sales business manager were present on the occasion.
The new Silverado Reaper is available with 5.3l 475hp and 6.2l 550hp Magnuson Supercharged engines. The pickup is equipped with custom ‘Reaper’ grille and hood, featuring Lingenfelter custom exhaust tips.
The Tahoe Z71 is roomier than ever before, with 2 inches more legroom for second row passengers, making it the perfect family car. Equipped with a 5.3L V8 engine, the new model includes special features like advanced crash avoidance and driver assistance technologies.
The 2015 Corvette convertible C7 has a 6.2L V8 engine delivering 460hp. It is a sports car that continues the 2014 concept of the Stingray, but the 2015 model will now include the NPP Performance exhaust, which was previously an add-on.

Jaidah Automotive also displayed the Chevrolet’s 2015 Impala, Cruze, Trax, Camaro, Traverse and Tahoe.
