Alfardan Sports Motors, the official importer of Ferrari in Qatar, has launched the Ferrari 458 Speciale in the country.
The 458 Speciale features Ferrari’s extreme technological innovation and is a completely unique model for those looking for an even more focused sports car offering extreme driving emotions.
“Ferrari is investing extensively in innovations and technologies that make drivers feel at one, whether on the road or on the track. The 458 Speciale has one of the most powerful roadworthy naturally aspirated V8 engines ever produced,” said Giulio Zauner, general manager of Ferrari Middle East and Africa, at a function attended by several owners of Ferrari cars in the country at The Pearl-Qatar .
The Ferrari 458 Speciale was crowned “Super Car of the Year” and “Car of the Year” by Top Gear, one of the most authoritative motoring magazines in the world, bringing the total number of awards Ferrari has had (from the magazine) to 13 in 11 years.

The 458 Speciale is the most powerful 458 to date at 596hp and 540Nm of torque and an exceptional weight/power ratio of just 2.13 kg/cv. The vehicle can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in a mere 3.0 seconds (0-200 km/h in 9.1”) and has also clocked a lap time of just 1’23”5 at the Fiorano Circuit.
The technology in the vehicle dynamics subsystems, which gives the driver instant confidence and control at high speeds, natural power over steer management and precise response to commands are further advances in an area in which Ferrari is already a well-established leader.
The car’s Side Slip angle Control provides continuous readings of the car’s side slip, and utilises traction control and torque vectoring to control it.
