The Toyo Tires officials were received by Almuftah Group’s directors - managing director Ibrahim al-Muftah and finance director Khalid al-Muftah - along with the management team of the Almuftah Tires and Lubricants division. Almuftah Trading and Contracting Co is the sole distributor of Toyo Tires in Qatar since 1968.
The visit highlighted Almuftah Group’s importance in strengthening Toyo Tire’s presence in the region, especially in Qatar. During the visit, Kasai stressed that Toyo Tires had planned to produce and supply 45mn tires by 2015, covering North America, Japan, Asia and the
Middle East.
“Our commitment in creating new value through innovation in advanced, proprietary technologies has landed us a good presence in the flourishing Middle East market, specifically here in Qatar, where our relationship with Almuftah Group has been proven for decades,” said Kasai, expressing gratitude at the partnership between the two
companies.
Kasai also visited Almuftah Tires and Lubricants’ main showroom on Salwa Road. He observed its operation and the variety of services rendered to customers, appreciating the efforts being undertaken to improve brand sales and quality service.
“We are focusing on continuing our business relationship with Toyo Tires with a vision of surpassing our business targets and meeting the diverse needs of customers,” said Ibrahim al-Muftah.
