More than 400 Qatar University (QU) alumni, relatives and friends gathered at the QU Library’s courtyard for the 2014 Alumni Reunion.
In its sixth instalment, the event is an opportunity for the organisation to celebrate the achievements of its graduates and bring them together to network and share experiences.
The gathering, which has become a popular event on the QU calendar, reconnects graduates with their alma mater and encourages mutual support and interaction between the institution and its graduates.
QU vice-president and chief financial officer Dr Humaid al-Midfaa told the gathering: “How wonderful are these emotions of pride and belonging towards the university we graduated from. How great this loyalty to the place that witnessed the development of our personalities. Let us celebrate what you have achieved as ambassadors of your alma mater.”
