HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani and President of Mali Ibrahim Boubacar Keita chaired a round of official talks at the Emiri Diwan between the State of Qatar and Mali.
The talks were attended by Qatar’s ministers and members of the delegation accompanying the president of Mali.
During the session, they reviewed relations between the two countries and ways of enhancing them in addition to a number of other issues of common interest.
Later the Emir hosted a luncheon banquet in honour of the Mali president and his accompanying delegation.
The president of Mali was accorded a red carpet reception on arrival at the Emiri Diwan yesterday.
Earlier on arrival at Doha International Airport President Ibrahim Boubacar Keita was received by HE the Minister of Economy and Trade Sheikh Ahmed bin Jassim bin Mohamed al-Thani and Ambassador of Mali to Qatar Mohamed Mahmoud Ben Labatt.
