Justice minister meets US envoy
HE the Minister of Justice Dr Hassan Lahdan Saqr al-Mohannadi met in Doha yesterday with US Ambassador Susan Laila Ziadeh.
They discussed bilateral relations and means to further develop them in all fields, particularly in the legal and judicial fields.
Qatar-Canada ties reviewed
HE the Assistant Minister for Foreign Affairs Ali bin Fahad al-Hajri met yesterday the head of the Middle East Affairs department at Canada’s Foreign Ministry Mark Gwozdecky.
During the meeting, they discussed co-operation between the two countries and ways of developing them as well as issues of common interest.
Attorney general, UN official meet
Attorney General Dr Ali bin Fetais al-Marri, who is also UN Special Advocate for Stolen Asset Recovery, met yesterday with UN Undersecretary-General for Political Affairs Jeffrey Feltman. They exchanged views on efforts in reclaiming stolen assets and the support the UN could provide to the Arab Spring countries. (QNA)
The consular section of the Indian embassy will revert to the following timings from September 16 - 9am to 12.15pm for submission of applications and 4pm to 5.15pm for collection of documents after consular service has been rendered.
