His Excellency Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman al-Thani, the Secretary General of Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) honoured the Qatar Paralympic team in recognition of their success in the 8th GCC Paralympic Championship 2013 held in Khalifa International Stadium.
“Our dear paralympians have proved their capability to represent Qatar sport movement at both regional and international sport events,” said Sheikh Saoud.
Sheikh Saoud added that the medals won were outcome of the continuous support given by the HH Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani and HH Heir Apparent Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani to the Paralympic sport in particular and Qatar sport movement in general.
The QOC Secretary General thanked all administrative and technical staff members and players at the Qatar Paralympic Committee (QPC) for their collective effort and tangible contribution that leads to such dazzling achievements.
