Sri Lankan Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe will make an official visit to Japan today, his second overseas trip since winning a parliamentary election in August.
Wickremesinghe is scheduled to address the Japanese parliament, a statement released by the Prime Minister’s media unit said yesterday.
During his five-day visit, Wickremesinghe will also deliver a speech at the Science and Technology Society Forum, Xinhua news agency reported.
During talks with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and other government officials, Wickremesinghe will have a wide range of discussions on bilateral relations, including economic ties, the statement added.
