Titans bagged the Filipino Tennis League-Qatar (FTL-Q) Independence Tennis Tournament 2015 winning the tournament at the Khalifa International Tennis and Squash Complex in Doha last weekend.
For the team, who were earlier known as Slazengers, this was their seventh title.
Going into the final weekend, four teams competed for the top honours. Apart from the eventual champions Titans, Team Warnets, Solid Team and United Tennister were in the fray and provided some entertaining action to the audience.
Warnets were the runners-up while Solid Team and United Tennister finished second and third runners-up respectively.
The other participating teams included Team Asics, KS Team, RTC-Q, Team Adidas, Powerhouse Team , Angry Birds Team , Kaberks Team and MMT.
FTL-Q was supported by sponsors, including Diana Jewelry and Inihaw Republic.
The presentation ceremony is scheduled for tomorrow along with the celebration of 117th Anniversary of the Philippine Declaration of Independence at the Sheraton Hotel. FTL-Q chairman Edgar Anami urged the officers and members of FTL-Q to attend this annual festival.
