Qatar’s Olympic football team suffered a 0-2 loss to France in their opening match of the Toulon tournament. The Toulon Tournament is a football tournament which features invited U21 national teams. The tournament is held around the Region-du-Var, with the final being held in Toulon itself.
Featured in the 43rd edition of the Toulon Tournament are the following ten national teams: China, Costa Rica, England, France, Ivory Coast, Mexico, Morocco, Qatar, United States and The Netherlands.
In the match yesterday, A Hunou opened the scoring for France in the 11th minute and then Y Kaabouni scored the second goal for his team in the 65th minute.
Qatar’s next match will be against The Netherlands on May 31.
