More fans are expected to attend the Qatar Cup Final on the 1st of May compared to last year, as increasing numbers of people in Qatar get behind their local teams. Qatar Stars League (QSL), the highest professional league in Qatari football, is urging fans to buy their tickets for the final between El Jaish and Lekhwiya as soon as possible.
Tickets for the match are on sale now and have already been selling fast.
QSL Executive Director of Marketing & Communications Khalifa Saleh al-Haroon said: “We’re delighted at the support people in Qatar are giving their local teams. We expect the Qatar Cup Final to be an action filled day so we urge fans to buy their tickets as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.  The Qatar Cup has so far given us some great football and we believe that the final will be even more exciting as both teams eagerly want to walk away with the title.  And there’s not just the promise of watching a great match, all ticket holders will also be entered into the prize draw to win some fantastic prizes and can also enjoy some excellent match day entertainment.”
Tickets for the Qatar Cup final are priced at 10QR and 150 QR. 150 QAR tickets include parking and catering. Children aged 10 and under go free in the 10QR section.
Tickets can be purchased online from tickets.qsl.com.qa and at Qatar Sports Club (Gate 5 ticket booth) from 2pm to 9pm daily, up to and including 30 April (subject to availability). Tickets are also available at the QSL experience activities at Landmark Mall, Katara and Al Khor Mall.  A full list of venues, dates and times can be found at qsl.com.qa.
Tickets for the family section will be available to buy in person at the QSL Experience and Qatar Sports Club. Fans can purchase a maximum of two tickets per person (no limit for Family Section tickets).
The Qatar Cup final will kick off 18:45 at Lekhwiya Stadium. Previously referred to as the Heir Apparent Cup, Qatar Cup is the pinnacle of the Qatar Stars League and is one of Qatar’s most prestigious events on the sporting calendar.
