Al Shahania Stud’s Al Khattaf (Amer-Aziza D’Aroco) fetched the highest bid of QR550,000 at the End Of Season Horse Auction conducted by the Qatar Racing and Equestrian Club at the Sale Ring of South Stables yesterday. Saeed Fahad Omair al-Shahwani owned Agdalya (Akbar-Agheila) was the second best to be sold at QR400,000 on the opening day of the sale. Nearly 250 horses will enter the sale ring during the two day auction. Buyers from Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Oman, UAE and Qatar were present at the auction, which will conclude today. PICTURES: Juhaim
