Qatar's Nasser al-Malki won the second race of the sixth round of Qatar Superbike Championship (QSBK) at Losail International Circuit yesterday. Defending champion Alex Cudlin followed up his first race win with a second-place finish yesterday, ahead of third-placed Saeed al-Sulaiti of Qatar. The Australian earned 45 points from the weekend to tighten his grip on the championship with 219 points. Qatar's Mashel al-Naimi, who is second in the standings, had a dismal weekend earning only nine points, taking his tally to 198 points. Al-Malki is fourth in the standings, behind QMMF Moto2 Racing Team rider Anthony West. The seventh and final round of QSBK is scheduled for May 8-9, 2015.
