Aamal will continue to sponsor the National A men’s team, HH the Emiri Cup, the Qatar Gas League and the Qatar Futsal League for the 2014-15 season, after Aamal chairman HE Sheikh Faisal bin Qassim al-Thani and QFA president HE Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed al-Thani signed a partnership agreement at Aamal’s headquarters yesterday.
“The continuation of the QFA’s sponsorship agreement with Aamal is testament to the strong, successful relationship between the two parties and to the benefits which it has already brought to our local communities and to the overall development of football in Qatar. The QFA’s vision is to become a pioneering football association, known for creativity and success, and our work with partners such as Aamal is helping to make that vision a reality,” the QFA president said.
Sheikh Faisal said: “We are delighted to again renew our commitment to the Qatar Football Association and to the promotion of sport in Qatar.  Football is the world’s most played and watched sport and its popularity in Qatar is reaching ever greater heights, driven by the government continuous support to promote sports and of course by our country hosting the 2022 FIFA World Cup.  Aamal is proud to be playing its part in promoting football on a number of different fronts and we are determined to continue to play a proactive, responsible role in developing sport in Qatar. I would like to wish Qatar’s national team, as well as all the teams and participants across the different cups and leagues which we are sponsoring, every success over the coming months.”
