The Qatar Football Association Executive Committee, headed by QFA President HE Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed al-Thani, has named Mansoor Mohamed al–Ansari as the new General Secretary of the Qatar Football Association. Al-Ansari has been working with Qatar football for the last four years as the Executive Director of Qatar National Team’s Department, and as Chief Operations Officer of Qatar Stars League. Mansoor’s unique style of sports management, passion for football and strategic planning and flare have earned him solid and consistent reputation over the years. The Executive Committee also appointed Hamad Abdullah al-Kuwari as Director of Marketing and Communications and assigned him the role of Acting Executive Director of Operations.
