December’s Championship event has something for everyone. Just last week the Championships revealed details of the Market Street Fan Zone which will be located just outside Hamad Aquatic Centre. Open to the public and free for all, fans will experience an abundance of entertainment for all ages including stage performances, appearances from Bahoor the official mascot, auto-graph sessions with competing swimmers and even camel rides around the aquatic centre.
Inside the swimming arena, spectators will be treated to the high octane races from world champions, record holders and Olympians including US Olympic Gold Medallist Ryan Lochte, South Africa’s golden boy, Chad Le Clos and multiple World Record holder, Katinka Hosszu of Hungary. Roland Schoeman (RSA), Daniel Gyurta (HUN), Mireia Belmonte (ESP), and other top athletes from Germany, Italy, Russia, China, Japan and the Netherlands will also be bringing their best to Doha.
