Qatar National Bank (QNB) has announced its association with one of the most prestigious events in the global horse racing calendar as a partner of the Qatar Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe weekend, which will take place in Paris on October 4-5. |
The Qatar Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe weekend is held every year under the auspices of the State of Qatar. The global horseracing event involves the two richest races on turf in the world; the Qatar Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe and the Qatar Arabian Horse World Cup.
Under the sponsorship agreement between QNB and the Qatar Racing and Equestrian Club (QREC), QNB’s name will be associated with two races to be run as part of the Qatar Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe weekend; namely, the QNB Prix Dollar and the QNB Prix de L’Abbaye de Longchamp.
The racing events will involve some of the world’s top race horses and will take place in the presence of many leading international dignitaries and a large crowd of horse race fans drawn from all over the world.
This sponsorship further consolidates the close business relationship between QNB and QREC and highlights Qatar’s growing presence on the International stage of sporting events.
