After winning the toss, QSTec elected to bat but were all out for 141 runs in 16.3 overs. Sohail was the top-scorer with 38 runs, which included 3 sixes and 3 fours. He was and supported by Kamran, who made 18 runs studed with 3 boundaries. Shaheed, Hilal and Sayeed Abbasi contributed 17 runs each.
C.D.C’s bowler Irfan was outstanding with the ball, claiming five wickets in his 2.3 overs and gave away just 13 runs and walked away with the man of the match award. Rajesh took 3 wickets while Prakash and Nabil took a wicket each.
In reply, none of the C.D.C. batsmen settled down and the team was all out for 72 runs in 13.5 overs. Suresh, was the only one to resist, as he remained unbeaten on 20 runs with 3 boundaries. Prakash contributed 16 runs with 2 sixes.
Sandeep was the most
successful bowler claiming 4 wickets including a hat-rick giving away only 6 runs in 1.5 overs. Sayeed Abbasi took 2 wickets while Ali, Kamran,
Taimoor and Mantah took a wicket each.
