The Qatar Stars League (QSL) this year has organised a football fan zone that features many activities to promote the start of the much anticipated football season.
The football fan area is located in Landmark Mall and Villaggio and will be active until the 21st of August. The mall football fan zone is in a 10m x 10m area that features different activities organized by the QSL & QFA collaboratively.
Fun interactive games have been provided in the special QSL fan area with the aim of promoting physical activity among young people and familiarizing the public with the league and its 14 clubs.
There, members of the public can register for Football Rewards as well as the new Kids Club scheme for children. Kids club was unveiled today at Villaggio Mall, where an assortment of club souvenirs where given out by players from Al Ahli and Al Arabi to all of the children ahead of this weekend’s first round of matches.
The Qatar Stars League has been present in the form of the QSL Experience all week in the build up to the new season. QSL Experience gives football fans the opportunity to take part in fun games and activities. These include inflatable games such as target practice, speed cage test and many other football themed games.
A stand is located inside the fan zone where people can get more information about all the 14 clubs in Qatar’s top football league – the QSL.
In addition the match proceeds from the tickets sales will be donated to the victims of Gaza through Qatar Charity as a sign of support and solidarity with the beleaguered region.
