Brazilian player Paulo Sérgio Betanin has signed a three-year deal with Al Arabi. The deal will see him stay at the Grand Hamad until 2017. Al Arabi was in desperate need of attacking players after releasing all their foreign strikers during the summer.
Paulinho has arrived from Serie A side Livorno and started training last Monday. After passing a medical at Aspetar Hospital the player signed his contract.
The striker is said to be lacking fitness and will need more training sessions to reach his previous levels before the start of the new season in August.
