Fifty One East, the leading retail chain in Qatar and Sony, the prominent consumer electronics brand, have further strengthened their support to the annual Emir Cup football by signing a new three year partnership with the Qatar Football Association (QFA) as the official sponsor of HH the Emir Cup.
Fifty One East and Sony have been associated with the event since 2011 and the extended official sponsorship reaffirms once again their commitment towards the country’s sports events in general, and the most popular sporting event that attracts football fans from across the state of Qatar; in particular.
Fifty One East and Sony support, strongly, the football Emir Cup tournament through running different promotional campaigns as well as organising different activities that entice competition and thrills football fans.
With the football season coming to a close, the Emir Cup, provides football fans in the country with one final event to celebrate the best in sporting talent in Qatar competing for the impressive title. The most watched local football tournament brings together the top national teams who play over five stages with the first phase reserved for the low-ranked sides.

It is worth mentioning that the Emir Cup is the last tournament of the season and is one of the most popular tournaments in the country. The final match will take place on 17th May and will be held in Khalifa International Stadium. HH the Emir Cup 2014 runs from April 21 to May 17 and matches are played in the four stadiums — Al Arabi Stadium, Qatar Sports Club, Al Sadd Stadium and Khalifa International Stadium.
