The Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) and the Ministry of Development Planning and Statistics are jointly conducting questionnaire on sport facilities and entertainment services, that will be provided by QOC to the public in effort to measure their satisfaction and response.
The questionnaire aims to measure the services availability and quality provided to the public, to enable the concerned sport authorities to tackle any shortage and bring in the best facilities that fit their needs.
The questionnaire comes in light of the strategic goals which the QOC aims to achieve in cooperation with the other authorities of the state within the sports section strategy (2011-2016).
These strategic goals are to increase community participation in sports and physical activity, improvement of planning for community and elite sports facilities and improvement of talent development, management and performance.
Based on the objectives of Qatar National Vision 2030, the questionnaire aims to create a healthy community at both physical and psychological levels. It also hopes to pursue Qatar Olympic Committee’s responsibility aimed at encouraging the community individuals to practice sport, physical activity, healthy life habits which will have positive impacts in their personal development and social prosperity.
