Thomas Blair had a game-high 30 points as Al Gharafa beat Al Khor in the Qatar Basketball League yesterday at the Al Rayyan Sports Club.

The American converted seven out of seven free-throws and shot three three-pointers as he played havoc with the Al Khor defence and helped his team post a comfortable victory.

Blair was ably supported by Osaro Adako with 23 points and Abdelqadir Salem with 13 as Al Gharafa maintained a comfortable lead in all quarters.

For Al Khor, Moustaphe Niang came up with another good show but ended up on the losing side. He scored 21 while Mokhtar Ghayaza had19.

Meanwhile Leslie Chauncey was in fine form as he powered Qatar Sports club to a 105-88 win over Al Ahli.

Chauncey emerged the top scorer for either side with 31 points as Qatar Sports Club kept their nose ahead throughout the match.

Jermaine Bell (26 ) and Melquan Bolding (25) also tormented the Al Ahli defence to boost Qatar Sports Club.

Al Ahli briefly sensed a chance when they trailed by just two points (58-40) at the end of the second quarter but Qatar Sports Club comfortably saw out the challenge.

Delonte Holland (28) and Alvin Mofuanaya (25) excelled for Al Ahli.
