The Qatargas Open Badminton Championship 2013, billed as the “biggest” badminton tournament in Qatar, will be held from September 26 to October 4, it was announced yesterday.
Competitions in a whopping 25 categories will be held during the course of the event in which hundreds of players are expected to participate.
Apart from the men’s and women’s singles and doubles, competitions for boys and girls under the ages of 10, 13, 16 and 19, masters (35 and above), veterans (45 and above) and mixed doubles will be also held.
Participants should fill up entry forms obtained from Badminton Qatar and submit them before September 19, the last date of entry.
