Protesters stand outside tents erected for a sit-in against the high cost of housing on the Rothschild Boulevard in the Israeli city of Tel Aviv. Shay Cohen, a social activist from Givatayim near Tel Aviv, announced he would be celebrating his 40th birthday by establishing a tent city on the prestigious Rothschild Boulevard, the site of the 2011 movement protesting the high cost of housing in Israel.
