LuLu Group officials at the handing over of the donation to The Sheikh Thani Bin Abdulla Humanitarian Services Foundation (RAF).
Prominent retailers LuLu Hypermarket Group (Qatar Region) has donated QR250,000 for the activities of The Sheikh Thani Bin Abdulla Humanitarian Services Foundation (RAF).
The contribution has been made from LuLu Hypermarket Group’s ‘Buy and Donate’ campaign run during the Holy Ramadan season. The group, which has been associating with RAF’s activities for the last two years, has signed an agreement to donate up to 10% of the sales proceeds of selected 350 items during Ramadan. Last year, the group had donated QR200,000 to RAF charity during Ramadan.
Director of LuLu Group International Mohamed Althaf said: “‘Buy and Donate’ Campaign has got overwhelming response. LuLu Group will continue to strengthen the ties of co-operation with RAF charity in their humanitarian and charitable causes in the future as well”.
While expressing happiness at their association with LuLu Group, General Director of Sheikh Thani bin Abdullah for Humanitarian Services of RAF Sheikh Sayed al-Qahtani said: “We are always striving to find new products that serve charitable and humanitarian sector in the Qatari society and pushing to hold more partnerships with companies in Qatar with a view to promoting the authentic values.”
