HE the Minister of Education and Higher Education and Secretary General of Supreme Education Council (SEC) Dr Mohamed Abdul Wahed Ali al-Hammadi met Qatari students who are in France on scholarships.

Talking to the students His Excellency said: “Qatar is awaiting you and all other students on scholarships in other countries. Qatar cannot be built without your efforts.”
He cited the Emir’s speech at the opening of the Advisory Council 44th session when he said: “Qatar’s economy cannot dispense with foreign expertise and labour, this is true, yet Qatar cannot be built without you.
It cannot be built on a limited number of professions and specialties that are pursued by all. There are vital sectors of the State such as the field of security, army and police, and even planning, management, engineering, medicine and scientific research, where we need Qatari youth, and Qatari youth must turn to all specialties and take their homeland into account when taking decisions.”
The Education Minister urged the students to excel in their studies and represent their country better. Al-Hammadi also answered questions raised by the students.
