Qatar General Electricity & Water Corporation (Kahramaa) has announced that customers can now avail of several of its services through WhatsApp.
This initiative is part of the corporation’s efforts to provide enhanced customer service and, through instant messaging, it aspires to improve communication with users and get things done as quickly as possible, it has said in a statement.
Smartphone users can now interact with Kahramaa 24x7 on WhatsApp by adding 30303991 to their list of contacts.
“The latest social media platform can be used primarily to receive reports, complaints, feedback and grievances from customers and social activists, pertaining to the safety and functionality of Kahramaa’s electricity and water networks across the country,” the statement notes.
Speaking on the occasion, Kahramaa public relations and communication manager Abdulla Anber al-Jassim stressed that the corporation was doing its best to connect with users through all possible communication tools. “This is being so that our customers and members of the society can connect to us easily, promptly and smoothly,” he said.
Further, he noted that social media was an important aspect of Kahramaa’s strategy to provide quality customer service.
Kahramaa recently launched a range of new electronic services on its website as part of its efforts to provide improved services and enhance customer satisfaction, the statement adds.
