Kazakhstan president arrives in Doha today
President Nursultan Nazarbayev of Kazakhstan will arrive in Doha today for an official visit to Qatar.
HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani will hold talks with Kazakh president tomorrow, on relations between the two countries as well as regional and international issues.
Doha to host GCC environment ministers’ meeting
Qatar will host Gulf Co-operation Council environment ministers on Wednesday as they meet with regional and international organisations to discuss climate change among other environmental topics.
Undersecretaries of Gulf Co-operation Council environment ministries will meet before that tomorrow at the St. Regis hotel to discuss environmental issues in GCC member countries.
Last week saw the environment ministers meet in Doha to discuss all topics related to the environment. They focused on starting a Web portal that connects all GCC members and help them achieve a more efficient management of chemical resources.
