The Met office has said strong winds and high seas are expected in offshore areas today.
The wind speed may go up to 22kt in these areas, which are also likely to see slightly dusty conditions and some clouds.
Meanwhile, inshore areas will be hot during the day and slight dust is also expected, according to the forecast.
The minimum and maximum temperatures in the country are expected to be 27C and 39C, respectively, with the forecast for Doha being 28C and 39C.
Chevrolet Corvette models recalled
The Ministry of Economy and Commerce (MEC), in collaboration with Chevrolet’s sole distributor in Qatar, Jaidah Automotive, has announced the recall of Chevrolet Corvette 2014-2015 models due to defects in the transmission programming.
The system needs to be re-programmed in view of GCC specifications, the ministry said in a statement yesterday.
The MEC will co-ordinate with Jaidah Automotive to follow up on the necessary maintenance and repair processes and communicate with clients to ensure the success of the recall campaign.
The recall is part of the ongoing campaign by the ministry.
