HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan at the Huber Palace in Istanbul yesterday morning.  They discussed the latest regional and international developments, particularly related to Palestine in light of the Israeli attacks on Jerusalem and the violation of the sanctity of Al Aqsa mosque. The two leaders stressed the importance of intensifying efforts for establishing a unified position to support and protect the rights of the Palestinian people,  urging the international community to put an end to the blatant Israeli violations of Jerusalem and Al Aqsa mosque. Views were exchanged on issues of common concern and  on developments in the region, especially in Syria and Yemen. Talks also  covered bilateral relations and ways to expand them to serve the interests of both the nations.
