Qatar’s government and private entities from cultural, hospitality, performing arts, theatre and sports sectors have announced a plethora of events for citizens and residents, especially children, to enjoy as part of Eid al-Adha celebrations all over the country.
Katara Cultural Village Foundation’s four-day celebrations start tomorrow. The celebrations include distribution of Eideyaa (Giveaways) for children daily at 7pm and 8.30pm, while shows will take place from 7pm to 9.30pm, followed by fireworks starting at 9:30pm.
Qatar Tourism Authority (QTA) will organise Bob the Builder show for five days starting from the first day of Eid at Dar Al-Salam Mall. The show starts at 5:35pm, except September 23 and 27, the show starts at 4pm.
QTA will organise Kids Circus for five days starting from September 23 Al Khor Mall. The shows start at 5:35pm, except September 26, shows start at 4pm.
The tourism authority will present Aladdin show at City Center Mall for five days starting September 23 at 5:35pm, except September 25 and 26 when it will start at 4pm. QTA will organise fun events at Ezdan Mall, Lagoona Mall and Hyatt Plaza from September 24 to 28 from 4pm to 10pm.
An array of exhibitions at the Museum of Islamic Art will be on display from September 25 to 27 since the museum will be closed on the first day of Eid.
Aspire Zone Foundation offers a variety of activities during Eid al-Adha holiday, some of which will be held daily throughout Eid from 4pm to 9pm.
The Pearl-Qatar will hold its Eid celebrations free of charge for three days from the second to the fourth day starting September 25 to 27 from 6pm to 10pm at 18 La Croisette.
Sout Al Rayyan Radio Station will organise a musical festival for four days from the second to the fifth day of Eid from 9pm to midnight.
Qatar National Theatre will present The Wrestler play for seven days from the first day of Eid starting 6pm to 8pm.
