Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro arrived in Doha yesterday afternoon on a short visit to Qatar. The president and his accompanying delegation were greeted upon arrival at Hamad International Airport by HE the Minister of Energy and Industry Dr Mohamed bin Saleh al-Sada and Venezuela’s ambassador Julian Rivas.
HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani later met with President Maduro. They discussed bilateral relations and the means to enhance them in all fields. The meeting, held in Al Bahr Palace, also discussed a number of regional and international issues of joint interest.
