The Ministry of Economy and Commerce (MEC), in collaboration with United Cars – Al Mana, the dealer of Jeep in Qatar, has announced the recall of Jeep Cherokee 2014-2015 models due to defects in the airbag system.
The recall comes within the framework of the ongoing co-ordination and follow-up by the ministry to ascertain the dealers’ commitment to follow up defects and repair them to protect consumers’ rights.
The ministry has also affirmed that it will co-ordinate with United Cars – Al Mana to follow up the necessary maintenance and repair processes and will communicate with clients to ensure the success of the recall campaign as well as the implementation of the procedures to fix defects.

Consumers can also submit their complaints through electronic systems installed in malls. These systems allow consumers to electronically communicate with the Department of Consumer Protection and Commercial Fraud Combat in a direct way.
