The temperature is expected to soar to the mid-40s in some parts of Qatar on Thursday, the Met office has said.
Abu Samra is likely to be the hottest place in the country, with the maximum temperature reaching 45 degrees Celsius. In Doha, the maximum temperature will be 43 degrees Celsius.
Inshore areas will experience hazy to misty conditions in the beginning, followed by a hot day with some clouds, according to the weather office.
It will be partly cloudy in offshore areas, which will also see hazy to misty conditions.
