Jumbo Electronics has opened its 15th showroom at the Al Furjan Market, Rawdat Gadeem, near Bani Hajer.
This week, Jumbo Electronics has also opened a spare parts-cum-repair shop at Rawat Al Hamama. Another spare parts-cum-repair shop was opened at Um Al Saneem last month.
The Al Furjan Markets project is an initiative launched by Qatar’s Ministry of Economy and Commerce in residential areas. The objective behind developing these markets is to make the lives of people staying in areas away from malls and the heart of Doha easier by providing them with their everyday needs.
A Jumbo showroom in such an area will “help provide assistance to customers for sales and after-sales service of its products” at a place that is close to where they reside, eliminating the need for them to drive to the city, according to a statement.
Video Home & Electronic Centre is the sole distributor of LG, Harman Kardon, JBL, Brother, Indesit and other brands in Qatar. This year marks the 35th anniversary of Jumbo Electronics.
