Qatar has strongly condemned the “criminal” bombing, which targeted the Sitra area in Manama yesterday.
In a statement, the Foreign Ministry said Qatar “condemns this criminal act that aims to subvert Bahrain’s security and stability”, reiterating “full solidarity with the Bahraini leadership, government and people”.
“The ministry also said that Bahrain’s security and stability is part of GCC’s security and stability, adding that Qatar stands by Bahrain in all measures to enhance security and stability,” a Qatar News Agency report said.
The statement expressed Qatar’s condolences to the Bahraini government and people as well as families of the victims, wishing speedy recovery to the injured.
