Children attending workshops and other activities at FBQ Museum.

More than 4,000 people visited Sheikh Faisal Bin Qassim Al-Thani Museum (FBQ Museum) to attend programmes held as part of the Eid al-Fitr family celebrations, according to a statement issued on Tuesday.
The museum drew more than 1,000 visitors on Saturday, alone, the statement notes.
Workshops on painting, calligraphy, collage creation, clay sculpture and drawing were booked out with families and children having fun while trying out such activities. In addition, there was a "New Lego Education" workshop, which was particularly popular with children.
New museum facilities such as the FBQ Museum Café, serving snacks and drinks, along with its adjoining Museum Education area were sought after by families. Other major draws for families included the museum gift shop, offering a selection of locally sourced and designed products that promote Qatari and Arabic culture.
