HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani, HH the Deputy Emir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad al-Thani and HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani have sent cables to the Emir of Kuwait Shiekh Sabah al-Ahmed al-Jaber al-Sabah condoling the death of Sheikha Haya Sabah al-Salem al-Humoud al-Sabah.
Al-Kuwari to attend G77 meeting
HE the Minister of Culture, Arts and Heritage Dr Hamad bin Abdul Aziz al-Kuwari who is also Chairman of the 13th session of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) arrived in Paris yesterday at the invitation of the Chairperson of the Group of 77 and China (G 77) Cecilia Rebong. He will deliver a keynote address during the opening ceremony of the Group which will be held at the headquarters of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (Unesco) as part of preparation for the UNCTAD 14th session.
