Qatar Chamber (QC) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Qatar Development Bank (QDB) to collaborate in supporting private sector and exchanging expertise.
The signing ceremony recently took place at QDB’s head office in Doha. QC Acting General Manager Saleh Hamad al-Sharqi signed the agreement on behalf of the Chamber while the CEO of QDB, Abdulaziz Nasser al-Khalifa signed on behalf of QDB.
Al-Sharqi said: “Qatar Chamber has the honour to cooperate with QDB, focusing on its roles in supporting the business sector in Qatar and  on financial services offered to all sectors particularly the industrial sector.”
He  appreciated the bank’s support to the Chamber’s events, referring especially to the Made in Qatar Exhibition 2015. Al-Sharqi praised the positive cooperation with QDB in developing the private sector and SMEs, as they are the milestone of any advanced economy.
 Al-Khalifa said: “We are confident that this MoU will be a valuable addition to our positive cooperation with QC because it aims at supporting the business community and national exports.”
He stressed the Bank’s support to QC’s efforts for achieving such mutual objectives, particularly in developing the private sector and SMEs.
