A 44-year-old Indian expatriate was found dead at his accommodation in Al Wakrah Friday.
The deceased, identified as Abraham Joseph (Shaji), used to run garment manufacturing and tailoring units in Najma, Al Wakrah and Barwa Village.
Shaji had been a resident of Qatar for the last 25 years, according to sources close to him. He was a native of Chunkathara, near Nilambur, in Kerala’s Malappuram district. His wife Jubi and son Jerin reportedly travelled home at the beginning of this month. The son is a student of Class 5 at MES Indian School.
He was a member of Emmanuel Marthoma Church, Doha.
