HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani yesterday received scores of well-wishers at Al Wajba Palace on the advent of Eid al-Fitr.
HH the Emir received HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani, Sheikhs, Ministers, Advisory Council Speaker and his deputy, ministries’ undersecretaries, Advisory Council members and citizens.
HH the Emir also received heads of diplomatic missions accredited to Qatar as well as army and police officers and heads of national institutions and departments.
The well-wishers expressed their congratulations and
blessings to HH the Emir.
HH the Deputy Emir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad al-Thani and HH Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad al-Thani, the special representative of HH the Emir, attended the reception.

HH the Emir exchanged greetings through telephone with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Pakistan President Mamnoon Hussain, former Lebanese prime minister Saad Hariri and head of Hamas’ political bureau Khalid Mishaal.
