HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani met Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan yesterday and discussed the latest regional and international developments.
They also discussed bilateral co-operation and the means to enhance it.
Members of the official delegation accompanying the Emir attended the meeting. On the Turkish side, members of the cabinet attended the meeting along with a number of ranking officials.
The Emir left Turkey later after a short visit to the country. He was seen off at the Ataturk International Airport by Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs Mevlut Cavusoglu, Governor of Istanbul Vasip Sahin, Qatar’s ambassador to Turkey Salem Mubarak al-Shafi and a number of ranking Turkish officials and officials of the Qatari embassy in Turkey.
